Can be supplied with a choice of thermowells. With similar filling options the famous “Clearway” range of thermometers offers a robust and corrosion resistant fibre glass case. Most models in the range may be specified with electrical contact heads to provide alarm or control function. Clearway temperature indicator controllers can be specified with built in relay and regulator versions and are are available for switching heavier loads. Special models are available for diesel exhaust applications. Rototherm filled system thermometers are designed to give guaranteed reliability over a wide range of ambient temperature conditions and are compensated for temperature changes from -30 to +50ºC. The filled system range of thermometers are tough yet accurate instruments with rigid stems for direct mounting or with flexible capillary for remote reading. Two case styles and case sizes are available in both rigid stem and flexible capillary formats. Thermowells are used extensively in the power, process, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. They are used to protect temperature indicators and sensors from process media and enable servicing or replacement of sensors without the need to shut down plant. Rototherm thermowells are designed to meet standards established by BSI, DIN, ASME and other authorities as well as established company standards such as BP, Shell, CEGB, ICI etc... All thermowells manufactured by Rototherm are precision made to the highest standards of finish in our modern, well equipped machine shop and are manufactured to Rototherm's high quality standard that is approved to BS EN ISO 001. Thermowells are available fabricated from tube or drilled from barstock or from forgings, and full material certification, including original mill and suppliers certificates can be provided.
